Machining scope

Groove width is confirmed against the profile and fit check.

Groove width is not fixed to one number in isolation. Before machining, we confirm it against the aluminum trim profile, board thickness and fit-check result; groove spacing is reviewed against the customer drawing or project requirements.

  • CNC Groove machiningProgrammed from the drawing and machined as continuous grooves.
  • Board thickness range5-25 mm thickness; 18 mm is a commonly used specification.
  • Supporting machiningCan be combined with cutting, chamfering, radiusing, engraving and custom-profile machining.

Pre-machining confirmation

Confirm four items before moving to batch production.

Finished dimensions, board material, finish and groove profile are part of one production plan. The commonly used raw board is 1220 x 2440 mm,Finished dimensions must account for trimming and machining allowance; raw-board dimensions cannot be used as finished dimensions.

01

Read the drawing

Confirm finished dimensions, groove layout, orientation and edge requirements.

02

Review the groove profile

Confirm the groove-opening solution against the aluminum trim profile and fit check.

03

Batch machining

Run CNC groove machining and supporting operations to the approved plan.
